She was born on Feb. 8, 1921, in Lodi, the daughter of Frank and Clara (Pulvermacher) Cline. Linda married Joseph Treinen on Feb. 11, 1941. Together they were hard-working, generous people who helped everyone in need and never wanted for themselves. Linda never said no to anyone, including her children and grandchildren. She made an impact on everyone she met and her door was always open. Linda loved to cook and bake. Her kitchen was a meeting place for friends and family to gather. When family and friends dropped by they were never turned away and always made to feel welcome. One of her greatest pleasures in life was taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a devout Catholic and was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and more currently St. Peter Catholic Church. She is survived by six children, Edith (Marlyn) Fahrenkampf of Oshkosh, Bill Treinen of Poynette, Don (Frances) Treinen of Madison, Patricia (Dick) Burns of DeForest, Sharon Holloway of Doylestown, Wis., and Dennis Treinen of Madison; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lareen Hahn, Evelyn Schroeder and Helen Tuschen; and many nieces, nephews, special relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph; son, Bob Treinen; two brothers; and two sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 8, 2006, at ST. PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5001 N. Sherman Ave., Madison at 10 a.m., with Father Roger Nilles and Father Daniel Ganshert concelebrating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Lodi. Visitation will take place on Sunday, May 7, 2006, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., Madison, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., where a rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Visitation will also be held at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Hanson, Dr. Barret, Dr. Falk, the staff at Dean Care, Marge, Sara and the staff at St. Marys Cardiovascular Floor. Because of Linda's love of children, the family requests memorials be made to the UW Children's Hospital, 600 Highland Ave., Madison, WI 53792.
