Eleanor was born April 26, 1921 in Roscoe, SD daughter of the late William J. and Edna E. (Smith) Fedde. She graduated from Niagara High School in 1940 and lived in the area for most of her life. Eleanor married Marvin Larson on September 8, 1951 at First Covenant Church in Iron Mountain. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2004. Eleanor worked as a cost clerk at Kimberly Clark paper mill for over 25 years. She was a longtime member at First Covenant Church. Eleanor loved gardening, was an avid reader and had an extensive collection of books.

She is survived by two sisters, Florence Verhoven of Menasha, WI and Rose Marie Johnson of Iron Mountain; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul (Ruth) Larson of Iron Mountain, June Larson of Iron Mountain and Dolores Larson of Grand Rapids, MI; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers-in-law, Roy Verhoven, Marshall Johnson, Jack Larson and Bob Larson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00am to 12:00 noon at the First Covenant Church in Iron Mountain. Funeral services will follow at 12:00noon at the church. Rev. Peter Erickson will officiate. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery.
