On August 20, 1952 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Keyesville, she married the love of her life, William N. “Bill” Daniels. They were blessed with two children. Having performed a song at a church picnic at age five, she went on to cultivate her lifelong love of music. Besides piano, she studied many instruments, but piano was her passion. She shared her passion with many piano students, including her children and grandchildren. Mary played for 50 years at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Germantown. She served for many years as the president of the Reedsburg Area Medical Center Auxiliary and was a member of the Cazenovia American Legion Auxilary. Mary loved her family very much and she will be greatly missed. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Theophilus and Anna Misslich; her husband, William; her grandson, Joseph; her great-granddaughter; her brother, Anthony; her foster siblings, Louis Shear and Marie Shear; other cherished loved ones and friends. A loving, dedicated and proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she leaves a legacy of two sons, James “Jim” of Cazenovia, Richard “Rick” and wife, Rita of Cazenovia; three grandchildren, Travis of Cazenovia, Amanda (David) Burton of Reedsburg, Christina (Aaron) Brooks of Lyndon Station; five great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at Holy Family Catholic Church in LaValle on Monday, August 29, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Father Loren Bowens as the celebrant. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, Germantown. Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00-6:00 P.M. at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg. An American Legion Auxiliary service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., and the Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 P.M. Friends may also call on Monday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Family Parish, Make-A-Wish Foundation or Ronald McDonald House. The Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg is assisting the family with the arrangements.
