Her most recent calling was Relief Society President and she loved serving her sisters in the ward. She also held many other callings over the years. She had an amazing work ethic that was appreciated by her employers and coworkers over the years. She loved working construction especially and wore it like a badge of honor. Most of the construction guys adopted her as an “on the job” surrogate mother and she appreciated them watching out for her. She loved doing genealogy, scrapbooking and her crafts. She loved our vacations to St. George, Disneyland and Hawaii. She especially loved the roller coasters. She always loved the ocean and couldn’t stop talking about her trip to Oregon to visit with her niece and sister-in-law and their family this last summer. She even dedicated a room in our house that she called the beach room. The outpouring from friends has been overwhelming. She was an amazing woman and friend to all she came in contact with.
