She was a member of the Gleaners Society and was a charter and oldest member of the Bridgewater Aid.

In February 1956, he married the former Lucy McAfee in Columbus, and she survives.
Also surviving are two step-daughters, Mrs. William (Jane) Carlton of De Tour Village, Mich., and Mrs. Kay McLane of Columbus; a brother Ray E. of Hudson, Fla; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Woolace of Stryker, Mrs. Mary Otos of rural Bryan and Mrs. Lavohn (Goldie) Fackler of rural Camden, Mich; 11 stepgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were five brothers, two sisters and a stepgrandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson Funeral Home, Pioneer, with Bruce E. Strine, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Floral Grove Cemetery, Pioneer.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the Williams County unit of the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

Her husband, Henry L. Otos preceded her in death on June 17, 1968.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lavohn (Goldie) Fackler of Camden, Mich., and Mrs. Eva Woolace of Stryker; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vivian; six brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be held today from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Deborah Kaylor to officiate. Interment will follow in the Evansport Cemetery.

The daughter of Ruth Emma McCrea, she was born March 30, 1917, in Bridgewater Township, Williams County. She was married to Fay Allomong, and he died in an accident on March 15, 1941. She was married to Noah Traxler, and he receded her on death on Aug. 5, 1977.
A lifelong Montpelier area resident, she was a graduate of Montpelier High School, and was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and the Sunday School for the church. She had also volunteered over a period of 16 years with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of Montpelier.
A homemaker, she and her husband Noah had owned and operated Traxler’s Upholstery Shop in Montpelier for many years.
Surviving are a son, Lyle (and wife, Nancy) Allomong of Edon; five daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Gloria) Pierson of Wolverine, Mich., Dolores Grice of Lancaster, Mrs. Noel (Linda) Ryan of Carmel, Ind., Mrs. Gordon (Winona) Lett of Indian River, Mich., and Cheryl Williams of Casper, Wyo; 24 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and two sisters, Marcile Ebaugh of Bryan and Mrs. Von (Marilyn) Smith of Berea.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husbands, were a son, Douglas Traxler; a daughter, Donna Henry; a grandson, Kevin Lett; and a brother, Lowell McCrea.
Visitation was Sunday in the Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home in Montpelier.
Funeral Services were held Monday at 11 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church, Montpelier, with Rev. Damschroder officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier.
Memorials may be made to the Dilworth Center of the Community Hospitals of Williams County-Montpelier, or to the First United Methodist Church in Montpelier.
