In her spare time, she enjoyed playing tennis, traveling, and gardening. Karen was an avid volunteer participating in hippotherapy and a longtime member of P.E.O chapter AY where she helped young women obtain financial assistance for college education. Above all, she was a fantastic mother and wife and will be remembered for her outgoing personality and love for her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Jeff; children, Madelaine Huntley and Samuel Huntley; father, Robert Lockhart; siblings, Diane (Mike) Ballard and Keith (Melinda) Lockhart. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Lockhart. Friends and family will be received Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. Mrs. Baumbach is a past commander of the D. A. V. auxiliary here.
