He was also past commodore of Port Jefferson Yacht Club, a member of Fairfield Harbor Yacht Club. He was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Ilse Engel Cella and loving sons, Marc and Brian of Boston, MA.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ted Rust officiating. A reception will follow in Weeks Hall.

Pauline joined the Bethel staff in 1954 and had the pleasure of working for and with many youth directors and pastors until her retirement in 1990.

Lifelong pleasures were her family, entertaining, cooking, reading, playing cards, and tending to her flowers. Pauline also enjoyed traveling with her beloved husband Milt throughout the U.S. and Europe.

Pauline is survived by her daughter Sandra (Charles) Stark; grandchildren Erik (Karla) Hendrickson and Shana (Michael) Leith; great-grandsons Lukas and Jacob; and by many others she and Milt felt were a part of their extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Milt.

She had worked at Reedsburg Hospital for over five years, and had been employed at a local factory for over 15 years. Most recently, she enjoyed working as a certified nurse's aide at St. Clare Meadows Care Center for 24 years. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends in sharing conversation and good times.

Survivors include her children, Lisa Palmer of La Crosse, Miriam (Darin) Helms of Baraboo, Katherine (Mike) Lowe of Missouri, Rebecca Cummings of Viroqua; three sisters, Joy Conway of Spring Green, Jean (Al) Hanko of Cazenovia, Julie (Ron) Dorn of Reedsburg; two brothers, David (Joyce) Pulvermacher of Reedsburg, and Mark Pulvermacher of Brimley, Mich; grandchildren, Alyssa and Hallie Helms, Allishia Zimmerly, Brittany, Cody, Jessica and Josey Cummings; and other relatives and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Delano "Del" Mueller in September of 2007; her parents; an infant daughter, Janice Palmer; a son, Chandler A. Palmer; and several aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at Open Door Baptist Church, 1007 Washington Ave., in Baraboo, with Pastor William Metzger officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 5 p.m. until the time of service. A graveside service will take place on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
