Frederick was born on December 8, 1930, in Dubuque, IA, son of Karl and Mary (Langen) Uthe .

During his free time, Fred had three definitively favorite interests; art, model railroading and family. Art was an outlet for Fred to freely express himself and his artwork will be cherished by family and friends. His second passion of trains was an itch which would never be cured. Model railroading easily delivered years of fun with family and friends. Finally though, Fred's greatest pleasure was the times spent with his family both at home and on vacation.

As we move forward in our lives, we know that the impact he's left behind on the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved him will last until the end of time.
