She married Doug Lykken in Rapid City on August 10, 1974. She was involved in the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life, Big Spring Health Fair, Howard County Fair and was the 2014 President of the 1955 Hyperion Club. She was active at First United Methodist Church in the Pathmakers Sunday School Class, Teddy Bear Ministry, Chancel Choir from 1981 thru 1999 and First Methodist Living Christmas Tree.
    She is survived by her husband Doug Lykken; numerous friends in Big Spring; her cat Tabby and her baby dog Angel. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or First Methodist Church.
    Arrangements are by Myers & Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
