Survivors include a son, Ervin, Lancaster; a daughter, Dianne Thorpe, Fort Worth, Tx; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Edna Wolf, Platteville, and Dorothy (Art) Taylor, Potosi. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster with Fr. Tom Baxter officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrew Cemetery in Tennyson.
    The visitation was Monday, Feb. 10, from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Schwartz Funeral Home where a parish rosary was held at 4:30 p.m.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville, on May 14, 1990.

    On April 3, 1926, she was married to Archie L. Wolf in Platteville. They farmed together on the Wolf Farm from 1927 until 1971 when they sold the farm and moved to Platteville. Edna was a life member of the Eastern Star and a past member of the White Shrine in Dubuque. She was a member of the Davies Memorial United Church of Christ in Potosi until 1993 when she became a member of the Platteville United Methodist Church.
    She is survived by one daughter, June D. Kuhls of Platteville; two sons, Robert L. Wolf of Lancaster and Donald A. (Jean) Wolf of Platteville; 2 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy M. (Arthur) Taylor of Potosi.
    She was preceded in death by her parents in 1948 and 1964; her husband, Archie, in 1987; a sister, Velma Schmitz in 1997; and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Robert (Marion) Wolf in 1996.
    Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at the Bendorf Funeral Home in Platteville with the Rev. Paul Johnsen officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Platteville. The Miriam Chapter #15 Order of Eastern Star held a service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family get-togethers were very special to her. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and visiting with her many friends and family. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

    Surviving is her daughter, Margaret (John) Clauer, Lancaster; six grandchildren: Bruce and Jane Clauer, Lancaster; Brian and Sue Clauer, Bagley; Brenda and Dan Reynolds, Potosi; Linda and Greg Stanek, LaValle; Kevin Clauer, Lancaster; and Lisa and Kerry Zenz, Blue Mounds; 16 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; two nephews: Don Wolf and Ervin Schmitz; a niece, Dianne Thorpe; and an sister-in-law, Gertrude Gertie Taylor.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, on March 14, 2000; her sisters: Velma Schmitz and Edna Wolf; and a nephew and a niece.

    Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Schwartz Funeral Home in Lancaster with Pastor Marilyn Hendricks officiating. Burial was in Van Buren Cemetery, Potosi. Family and friends called from 3:00 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the Schwartz Funeral Home and after 12:00 noon on Wednesday. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Dorothy M. Taylor memorial fund has been established.
