He was a 1967 graduate of Edison High School where he excelled in Men’s basketball and drafting. He made his career as a talented carpenter and contractor leaving a legacy of his work throughout San Antonio, including historical restorations of buildings on the Riverwalk and King William areas.

He married Kimberly Van Delden in 1983 and raised four wonderful children. They remained lifelong friends. He was a devoted father, always showing unending support for his children even throughout his extended illness.

Lenard is survived by sons, Jordan, Brian and Matthew Voges; daughters, Kristen and LeeAnn Voges; parents, Monroe and Mildred Voges; sister, Bonnie Lipp and husband, Daryl; brother, Larry Voges and wife, Terry and other loving family members.

R. (Lucey) Morgan, Tumcucari, N.M., Mrs. J. T. (Mildred) Clayton, Clarendon, Tex., and Mrs. Sam (Nina) Dale, Clarendon, Tex. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Mergen Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank Gaylord, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated at the services. Burial took place at the Elk Grover Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Mergen Funeral Home.
