Marie was born May 28, 1914 to Gerrit S. and Anna (Reisch) DeBlauw in
Crofton. She grew up in the Crofton area, living with her parents and
taking care of them until their deaths. She then worked at Sacred
Heart Hospital in Yankton for several years until she became a
housekeeper for various priests in Wynot, Plainview, Jackson Leigh and
St. Gerald's Parish in Omaha. She retired and returned to Crofton in
the late 1980's.

She is a former member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Constance
and presently was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church,
Crofton, and Council of Catholic Women.

Survivors include one brother and his wife, Joe and Adelaide DeBlauw,
Crofton; three sisters-in-law, Irene DeBlauw, Hartington; Cathryn DeBlauw,
Sr. James Nursing Home, Yankton, S.D; and Dorothy DeBlauw, Columbus;
and 33 nieces and nephews,

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Veronica Guenther;
and four brothers, Martin, Peter, Louis and Anthony DeBlauw.

At the age of six, he moved with his parents to a farm near Crofton. He married Anna M. Bruecher Feb. 10, 1931, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Oyens. Following their marriage, the couple farmed near Hartington for a few years, and then near Crofton until 1944. They farmed for almost 40 years just north of Le Mars and in 1983, moved into Le Mars. Mrs. DeBlauw died January 1993. Since June Of 1996, Mr. DeBlauw has lived in Terre Haute, Ind. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Le Mars.
Survivors include two daughters, Jeanette Huffman and her husband, Everett,
Terre Haute, Ind; and Darnelle Nissen, Theodosia, Mo; 14 grandchildren; 22
great-grandchildren; and a brother and his wife, Joseph and Adelaide DeBlauw,
Crofton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Melvin DeBlauw; a grandson Neal
Nissen; three brothers, Anthony, Louis and Martin DeBlauw; and a sister,
Veronica Guenther.

Rudy was born on June 18, 1908 to Joseph H. and Catherine (Willembring) Lammers. He lived west of Hartington in the Lammers Ranch area all of his life where he farmed. Rudy's education was mostly at the Lammers Ranch School, a year in Fordyce to get a religious education so he could make his First Holy Communion. Rudy attended Trinity High School and an accounting school in Sioux City and proceeded on to Lincoln where he received his diploma in Auto and Tractor School in 1929. Throughout his school years, he received many awards for his meticulous penmanship and spelling. Rudy married Rose J. Arens on January 5, 1932 in Hartington. To this union, seven children were born. In March of 2004 Rudy became a resident of the Golden Living Center in Hartington.

Rudy was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was a former trustee of the church. He also was a former member of the Board of Directors for the Farmers Union Coop in Hartington. Rudy enjoyed playing the violin and harmonica. He was an excellent herdsman, loved to hunt, and always kept busy on the farm. Rudy carried on the tradition of his father's apple orchard and his 3 sons continue this tradition today. He was "the patriarch" of his family, was a very kind man and always had a great sense of humor with a quick wink. God and family were Rudy's top priorities.

Rudy is survived by 7 children and their spouses, Cyril and Irene Lammers of Fordyce; Clair and Vivian Lammers of Fairbanks, Alaska; Vivian and Alburn Wiebelhaus of Aurora, Colorado; Angela and Armand Wiebelhaus of Yankton; Joan and Sam Brice of Fairbanks, Alaska; Jeanne and Don Schmidt of Crofton; Mark Lammers of Hartington; 36 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren, a sister, Adeline Hansen of Houston, Texas; and a sister in law, Margaret Lammers of Hartington.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rose, 4 brothers, Ray, Alfred, Hugo, and Arthur Lammers, 5 sisters, Hilda Filips, Alphonsa Pautler, Rita Love, Dora Lammers, and Lucina Prier, a great grandson, Peter Anderson, a son in law, John Chalupnik, and 2 daughters in law, Phyllis Lammers, and Nancy Lammers.

Gerald H. Potts was born on February 12, 1939 at home in Fordyce, Nebraska to Frank and Mary (Schmidt) Potts. He was raised on the farm 1 mile north of Fordyce. He attended Fordyce grade school. He was a freshman in High School at Conception, Missouri, a sophomore at Fordyce H.S., a junior at Cedar Catholic, and graduated from Crofton High School. Prior to his marriage, Gerald worked for a short time for Council Oak Food Chain Store in Yankton, SD. He married Beverly J. Yule on August 31, 1960 in Yankton. He and Beverly lived briefly in Fordyce and then moved to the family farm 1 mile west and 1/2 mile south of Constance, NE where they raised their five children and lived for 44 years.
Gerald enjoyed his grandchildren and their activities, hunting, fishing, boating, playing cards (especially Sheephead-No Trump), he was a member and EMHC at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and former member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Constance, parish council. He played baseball in Fordyce as a young man and took great pride in his John Deere toy collection.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Bev; five children and their spouses, Vicki and Chuck Kleinschmit of Coleridge, NE, Frank Potts of Bloomfield, NE, Deb and Dave Kube of Crofton, Teri and Aaron Biermann of Wisner, NE, Lisa and Mike Fields of Elm Creek, NE; 18 grandchildren; three brothers and spouses, Marcus and Donna Potts of Fordyce, Roman and Joan Potts of Fordyce, Leonard Potts of Crofton, one sister Laverna and Rusty Mullen of Sioux City, IA; one sister-in-law, Nell Potts of Crofton.
Preceding Gerald in death were his parents; a sister, Flavia Ausdemore; one brother-in-law, Leo Ausdemore.
