Surrounded by her family, Brenda passed away peacefully in her beautiful home which she designed. She was born in Richland Center on January 22, 1952 to Orvin and Marci Severson. She spent her childhood running around with 6 brothers and sisters on various farms in the Ithaca area. Brenda and her high school sweetheart Doug graduated from Ithaca High School in 1970, they were then united in marriage on May 5, 1973 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Keyesville, WI.

Brenda and Doug farmed their entire life in Bear Valley, WI on Faber’s Corner Dairy where they raised 5 children. Life on the farm included milking cows in the morning, keeping farm records, building a family of love, and predicting when dad would arrive for supper. Brenda’s life was clearly evident through her love of family, friends, faith, and dedication to her community. This community includes the Ithaca, St. Patrick’s of Loreto, and Sauk County ARC families. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her life. She loved attending and being their biggest cheerleader at games, track meets, concerts, and other events. Her faith filled life was a model that inspired many young people to find their love for God. She was the Director of Religious Education for many years at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Even just weeks before her passing, she was writing the finishing touches on the religious education curriculum of which will be used to continue to teach of God’s loving grace to the youth of St. Patrick’s Church.

Brenda had a gifted way with words. This includes her masterful way of knowing what to say to others, no matter the occasion and her deep interest in other’s life story. She would write and orchestrate numerous events, such as church Christmas programs and family plays. Through Brenda’s work on her family’s archives, her family history will not be lost. Brenda was so proud of her family, and always reflected this love through her annual Christmas letter.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Doug who will miss her never-ending love; her 5 children, Brian Faber of Loreto, Kari (Bill) Underwood of Plymouth, MN, Kami (Danny) Clary of Bear Valley, Mandi (Jesse) Sorkness of Pewaukee, and Deidra (Nick) Schumacher of Bloomer who will all miss her loving advice; 11 grandchildren, Kati (Tad), Nolan, Benji, and Sammy Clary; Jackson and Broden Underwood; Hannah and Ethan Sorkness; and Drayana, Ellyana and Trajon Schumacher who will all miss her 200 hugs and kisses, her mother Marci (Severson)Yero who will miss her Monday visits; 4 sisters Joyce(Jim) Huebsch of Hillpoint, Donna(Pat) Elliott, Deby(Gary) Wertz, and Laurie(Reggie) Way all of Richland Center who will all miss craft fairs and pizza night; 2 brothers-in-law Dwayne(Cathie) Faber of Hillpoint, and Jason(Heather) Faber of Plain, 6 sisters-in-law Char Murphy of West Salem, Jo(Al) Knoeck of Naperville IL, Lynn(Jody) Newkirk, Vicki(Tom) Faber, and Shelly(Randy) Schmidt all of Richland Center, and Jackie(Bob) Faber who will all miss her dedication to family and faith; 42 nieces and nephews, 55 great nieces and nephews, and 6 great-great nieces and nephews who will all miss her birthday cards filled with sticks of gum, and numerous extended family and friends who will all miss her beautiful smile.
