A private committal service was held at a later date at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Northbrook, Illinois.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family that includes her husband, Ed; two daughters, Carolyn (Jerry) Rainey and Julia Bleimehl, all of Urbandale, Ia; two sons, Edward Charles (Bridget) Bleimehl IV, of Des Moines, Ia., and Terry Bleimehl, of Urbandale, Ia; seven grandchildren, Loral, Matthew, Christopher and Kate Rainey, Natasha (Jason) Bovee, Edward Charles (Michelle) Bleimehl V, and Nicklaus Bleimehl; six great-grandchildren, Fiona, Aubrey, Lailie, Edward Charles VI, Sophie, and Josephine; a sister, Madeline (Robert) Harlan of Green Bay, Wis; a brother, John (Anna) Kieler, of Des Moines, Ia; two sisters-in-law, Judy (Ellis) Kahn of Kewaskum, Wis., and Maureen Kieler of West Point, Ia; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded into eternal life by an infant son, Timothy George; an infant daughter, Susan Mary-Kathryn; her parents, George and Frances Kieler; and one brother, Dan Kieler.

There was a Knights of Columbus rosary recited at 3 p.m. The family met with friends from 5 until 8 p.m., Monday evening, at the church where a Christian wake service was held at 7 p.m.
His body lay in state after 9 a.m. on Tuesday at the Holy Trinity Catholic School gymnasium in West Point until the Mass of Christian burial. The Mass of Christian burial was held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 13, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in West Point, with Father David Wilkening as celebrant. Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery in West Point.
He was survived by his wife, Maureen, of West Point, Ia; three daughters, Cecilia (husband Eric) McVey, of Galesburg, Ill., Patricia Kieler, of Cedar Rapids, Ia., and Theresa Kieler, of West Point, Ia; a son George (wife Hanna) Kieler, of West Point, Ia; six grandchildren, Kieley and Gabriel Brathwaite; Brannock, Kittner and Breck McVey; and Madelyn Kieler; two sisters, Mary (husband Ed) Bleimehl, of Mt.
