Kevin was born Aug. 11, 1956, in Mitchell, S.D., the son of Larry and Mary (Miller) Larson. Kevin graduated from Galesburg High School. He married Linda Lehman in 1977. He worked for Roger Brothers as a food salesman for 25 years, retiring in 2001.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Mary Larson; a son, Kevin Larson; two daughters, Sarah and Traci Larson; and four grandchildren, Jordan, Noah, Savannah and Alexandria. He is also survived by two brothers, Doug Larson and his wife, Carla, and Mark Larson; and one sister, Terry Bennett. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Larson.
A memorial mass will be noon Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Father Jim Rickie will officiate. A celebration of Kevin's life will be immediately following the mass at the Elk's Club, 1640 N. Henderson St., Galesburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home.

She was born May 24, 1949, in Sioux Falls. She attended rural Star School and Beresford High School. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Roseni Lutheran Church, rural Beresford. At age 16, Ida was involved in an accident which left her a parapalegic. She continued her high school education at the Children's Care Hospital and School in Sioux Falls and graduated in 1967. She then went to Kansas State Teacher College, Emporia, graduating in 1971. She started her government career as a summer intern in 1971, and in 1976 she transferred to Washington, D.C., with her most recent position being deputy associate administrator for acquisition policy at GSA. Survivors include: two brothers: Milton, Beresford; and Melvin, Madison; three sisters: Agnes Patti, Takoma Park, Maryland; Naomi Peterson, Emporia, Kansas; and Ruby Plate, Vermillion; 17 nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews. Services were held Friday, Dec 3, at Takoma Park Presbyterian Church, Takoa Park, Maryland. A memorial service will be held at 10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec 11, at Roseni Lutheran Church, rural Beresford.

The third child of Gilbert and Alyene (Johnson) Alt, Terry was born on December 22, 1951. Upon graduation, Terry moved to Madison and began his working career at Goodwill, moving on to Webcrafters for the next 39 ½ years before retirement. It was in Madison that he met his wife, Mary Churchill, and married on October 18, 1975, celebrating 46 years together.

Terry is survived by his wife, Mary Alt, sisters Gloria (Ardell) Newton and Diane (Robert) Hanson, brother-in-law, Robert (Linda) Churchill, sister-in-law, Carol Georgeson, and many much-loved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Alyene Alt, brother and best friend, Dennis Alt, father and mother-in-law, Richard and Marie Churchill, brother-in-law, John Churchill, and many much-loved aunts, uncles and cousins.

As per Terry’s wishes, there will be no formal services.

He only asked that you honor his memory by the giving of your unconditional love to others.
