Chuck worked for a long-time as a Tree Trimmer, both as an employee for Humphrey Tree Experts in Mazomanie for many years, and working for himself around Baraboo. Chuck was married to the former Judy Baumgarten Wright on September 19, 1970 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Reedsburg. He was employed for seven years at Humane Manufacturing in Baraboo until 1980. For several years Chuck operated 'Reiny's Bait Shop" out of his home where he enjoyed the people he met and spoke with. The couple were residents of the Baraboo area until 1998. Chuck and Judy were currently residing at the Deer Run Mobile Home Park in Lake Delton. Lawrence was a bricklayer and a farmer. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, playing cards and woodworking. He liked to spend time at the old farm where he was born. He was a family man whose greatest joy was his family and grandchildren. He was a very active member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church of Rock Springs and had served on the church council. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother; sisters, Josephine Kopf and Leona Mueller; and brother, Melvin Schara. He is survived by his wife, June of Reedsburg; children, Judy (Kent) Schroeder, Larry (Lois) Schara, Gary (Georgia) Schara, Dick Schara, Kevin (Liz) Schara and Jeff (Krystal) Schara; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Adeline Hinz; brothers, Lloyd, Virgil and William Schara; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Lawrence Schara will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, March 6, 2009, at ST. JOHN EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH in Rock Springs with the Rev. Paul Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Rock Springs. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the FARBER FUNERAL HOME in Reedsburg, and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Memorials of remembrance may be made to St. John Lutheran Church of Rock Springs Christian Education Fund. The Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Bud enjoyed reading his newspaper, especially the sports pages, going for rides in the country, playing cards, shaking dice and occasionally placing a dollar on a friendly bet or football pool. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce of North Freedom; three sons: Bernie (Lynnette) Reinfeldt of Marshall, Michael (Susan) Reinfeldt of Franklin, Tenn., and Stephen (LeeAnn) Reinfeldt of Sheboygan; a daughter, Nancy Reinfeldt of North Freedom; his grandchildren: Jon, Adam (Katie), Jarod and Elise; his sisters: June Schara of Reedsburg amd Shirley (Darrold) Bennett of Reedsburg; his brother: Kenneth (Shirley) Reinfeldt of Reedsburg; numerous nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Cleo, Glen, Lyle and Charles; and a sister, Elaine Seekins. We honor his life with a visitation on Monday, July 18 from 5-8 p.m. at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg. Private family funeral services will be held Tuesday. Burial will follow in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Rock Springs. The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

He was born on Sept. 30, 1909, in Sauk County, the son of Herbert and Emelia (Merkel) Bryant. On Feb. 21, 1936, he was united in marriage to the former Elva E. Gade. She preceded him in death on May 2, 1972. He later married the former Clara Krey Crane on March 30, 1975. Rollo was a lifelong farmer in the town of Excelsior. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, the Golden Agers, the Reedsburg Senior Citizens and the Tuesday Senior Bowling League. He enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing and sports of all kinds. He is survived by his wife, Clara; a daughter, Verla (Chub) Klingenmeyer of North Freedom; six stepchildren, Gilbert Crane, Bliss "Butch" (Maureen) Crane and Patsy (Dennis) Reetz all of Neshkoro, Audrey (Richard) Knopp of Oshkosh, Barbara (David) Lovett of Waukesha, and Adrian (Darlene) Crane of Sun Prairie; nine grandchildren, Dan (Colleen), Craig, Keith, Kathy (Ken), Vicki (Mike), Debbie (Alan), Christy (Josh), Melissa (Eric) and Michael; six great-grandchildren, Mattie, Alex, Brittany, Kaitlyn, Stephanie and Ryan; nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Dean Crane, in June 1967; and three sisters, Golda Schroeder, Sylvia Reinfeldt and Lola Bryant. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at ST. PETER'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, Reedsburg, with the Rev. Paul Crolius officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at the HOOF FUNERAL HOME in Reedsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or school would be appreciated.

Clara was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro where she was active with the Ladies Aidand taught Sunday school. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and she was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Clara was a Gold Star Mother. She was a faithful member of St. Peter' s Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Ladies Aid and the Golden Agers. Clara enjoyed doing handiwork, playing cards,doing crossword puzzles and growing her violets. Survivors include her children, Gilbert Crane, Bliss 'Butch' (Maureen) Crane and Patsy (Dennis) Reetz, all of Neshkoro, Audrey (Richard) Knopp of Oshkosh and Barbara (David) Lovett of Waukesha; a daughter-in-law, Darlene Crane of Sun Prairie; her step-daughter, Verla (Chub) Klingenmeyer of North Freedom; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Krey of Baraboo and Lester 'Slug' Krey of Reedsburg; her sister, Ardell (Rex) Albers of Reedsburg; other relatives and friends. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dean and Adrian Crane; one brother, Edgar 'Eggs' Krey and her sister-in-law, Juanita Krey. Funeral services will be conducted at 11a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH in Neshkorowith the Rev. Franklin Giebel officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 7p.m. on Monday at the HOOF FUNERAL HOME in Reedsburg and from 9:30 a.m.until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Peter' s Ladies Aid or Zion Lutheran Ladies Aid would be appreciated. The Hoof Funeral Home is serving the family.
