Mr. Roddick farmed his entire life on the home farm near Belmont. He was born on Nov. 27, 1925, in Ellenboro Township, Grant County, son of Lloyd and Elsie (Wilkinson) Roddick . He married Mildred Jenaman on Oct. 14, 1950; she died on Feb. 16, 1994.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.

Surviving are five children, Kathryn (Leonard) Reuter, of Platteville, Brian (Susan) Roddick , of East Dubuque, Ill., Tina (Craig) Thompson, of Rockford, Ill., and Tim Roddick and Tom Roddick , both of Belmont; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild; a sister, Elva Voights, of Belmont; and a sister-in-law, Eileen Roddick , of Belmont.

He also was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, La-Verne Roddick , on Nov. 30, 1988.
