She took pride in her raspberry bushes, loved to play cards, but fishing was her favorite. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two grandchildren, Patrick Corcoran and Michelle Ruhland; and sister-in-law, Emelia Paulus. While Irene had many friends, she was especially loved by the Imhoff and Knickmeier families. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 15, 2005, at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Ave., at 10:30 a.m. with Monsignor Mike Hippee officiating. • Dennis Haas died on 16 April 2016 at age 55 Dennis J. Haas, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 16, 2016. Dennis was born March 3, 1961 to LaVerne and Luella (Bauer) Haas. He graduated from River Valley High School in 1979. Shortly after graduation he enlisted in the military; serving in both the Army and Marines. Dennis was an active member in both, American Legion Post 494 in Caledonia; where he proudly held the position of Adjutant, and American Legion Post 398 in Plain. He enjoyed spending time with his family, relatives, and friends. Had many interests, but the one he looked forward to every year was registering those deer at I-Diehl Tap. He will always be remembered for his “goofy” jokes, his game of euchre, but mostly for his big heart and generous spirit. Dennis is survived by, his brothers, Gary, Mike, Bob (Laurie), and David (Wendy), along with his sisters, Theresa and Julie (Kent). He is further survived by his two special nieces, Montana and Mikayla, and many other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents LaVerne (Butch) and Luella Haas, a sister Mary Lou, his Grandparents, and many relatives. A Mass in Memory of Dennis will be held, Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 11:00 A.M., at the St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Plain, Wisconsin. Visitation will be at the church starting at 10:00 A.M., until the time of service. Father Mike Resop will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Hey Denny, your shoes are tied!
