He married M. Adele Patzner on Nov. 11, 1947 at St. Thomas Church in Potosi, WI. He has lived in Potosi for over 80yrs. Jerome worked for the Grant County Highway Department. He was also a WWII Air Force Veteran with the European Theater Army of Occupation. He was a member of the American Legion Post #473 in Potosi, WI. Jerome was a dedicated outdoorsman. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends; he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jerome is survived by his loving wife of 66yrs, Adele; 8 children: Jerome Jr.(Joan) Hesseling of Lakeville, MN, Jean Wilkinson of Santee, CA, Judith (William) Kaiser of Hazel Green, WI, Jeffery (Cindy) Hesseling of Potosi, WI, Jane (James) Stelpflug of Lancaster, WI, Joyce (Terry) Seng of Platteville, WI, Joseph Hesseling of Madison, WI and John (Lori) Hesseling of Dubuque, IA; 21 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers the family requests that all donations be made to Hospice of Dubuque.

    dance! Lois was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George "Bud" Koch, on April 24, 2004. They were married March 21, 1942. Survivors include son, Dan Koch and wife, Connie, Council Bluffs; daughter, Kathleen "Kitty" Prieto and husband, William, of Omaha, Neb; four grandchildren, Michelle
    Deutsch, Ryan Koch, Angela Koch and Matthew Prieto; six great-grandchildren;
    step-sister, Janice Bennett, Henderson, Nev.
    Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring
    Funeral Home. The funeral service will be
    Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the funeral home with Pastor Noel Kropp of Bethany Lutheran Home officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with a lunch following at Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church. Memorials may be offered to The Humane Society of the United States.
