Nov. 28, 1860, he married, in Spring Green, Mary T. Jones, of that town; they have had seven children- Minnie D., Joshua deceased, Eliza M., Thomas A., Benjamin F., George W., and Gracie. Mr. Davis owns 182 acres of land; his home farm is most desirably located in close proximity to the village of Spring Green; Mr. Davies has been a continual resident of Spring Green since 1853, and has taken an active part in the improving and advancement of the town; he is a citizen of much energy and enterprise, and takes a deep interest in the advancement of the educational and other public interest of general good.⁴
