She was born in Richwood township, Richland county, the daughter of Ray and Cora (Dalton) Dyer. Martha married John ‘Jack’ Zintz on December 3, 1940 in Dubuque, IA. John preceded her in death on February 16, 1979. Martha worked many years at Badger Ordnance in Baraboo and at Advance Transformer in Boscobel until her retirement. She loved country music and made many trips to Branson, Missouri with friends and family, also to Western states with family members. When the Packers were playing you knew where to find her. She made lots of quilts and afghans for her family. Always wanting to keep busy, she spent a lot of time in her yard and tending to her flowers.

Martha is survived by her children: William (Lynn) Zintz of Boise, ID, Bonita (Ray) Hirschfield of Readstown, WI, Joellen (Ray) Lawrence of Jamestown, ND, Dennis Zintz of Verona, WI, Peggy Hampton (fiancé Jeff Sandmire) of Richland Center; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 7 siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in the Sand Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
