She married Edward Ederer on November 22, 1932 at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Plain of which she was a member of her entire life. She attended 12 years of school at St. Luke's, followed by one year of Sauk Co. normal teachers college at Reedsburg. She taught at a local rural one room school, which included all 8 grades, and dearly loved teaching which she talked about often.

After her marriage she became a farm wife and worked side by side with her husband. Faith, family and friends were so important to her. She will be remembered for her excellent cooking, baking and ability to bring family and friends together at her table. She leaves us with the blessings of having had her love and prayers.

Celia is survived by three daughters: Irene (Ralph) Frank, Ione (Mel) Weiss, Ilene Bindl, one son Edward Jr. (Patricia) Ederer, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one sister-in-law Carrie Ederer, Sylvia Layton Laubmeir who made her home with them and loved as one of their own, as well as many other nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, her parents Henry and Catherine Neuheisel, brothers Walter, Tony, Hubert and Leonard, sisters Mary Soeldner and Frieda Soeldner and two sons-in-law LaVern Ruhland and Ray Bindl.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday April 15, 2009, at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Plain at 12 noon. Father Mike Resop officiated. Burial was held at St. Luke's Catholic Cemetery.

A visitation was held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at St. Luke's Catholic Church from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the Mass at 12 noon.

Celia's family would like to express their appreciation for the loving and tender care given to her at Greenway Manor.

The Richardson - Stafford Funeral Home of Spring Green assisted the family with their arrangements.
