Amos Ewing Tanner married Elizabeth Pace on 5 August 1950 at Methodist Church, Golconda, Pope, Illinois. Amos Ewing Tanner died on 7 January 2011 at age 87. He was buried after 7 January 2011 at IOOF Cemetery, Golconda, Pope, Illinois.
     Amos Ewing Tanner was also known as Ewing Amos.
