Burial will be at the St. Rose Cemetery in Crofton. Visitation will be on Friday, at church, from 5-8:00 p.m. with a Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday one hour prior to services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Crofton, Nebraska.

Pallbearers will be Justin Hochstein, Jeff Hochstein, Travis Poppe, Christopher Zoucha, Scott Edmunds, Lisa Hamm, Lori Rath, and Jean Freidenbach.

Bernadette Velma Tramp was born on February 15, 1918 in Bow Valley to Louis and Susie (Thieman) Wiebelhaus. She grew up on a farm near Bow Valley, Nebraska. Bernadette worked as a housekeeper for Rev. Kluthe in Menominee, and then worked for Stupenagels Egg Processing Plant in Yankton. She then worked for Gurneys Seed and Nursery in Yankton. Bernadette married Sylvester Anthony Tramp on June 2, 1942 in Bow Valley, Nebraska. She and Sylvester lived & farmed between Crofton and Bloomfield.

She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Crofton, Christian Mothers, Catholic Daughters of America, and the Jolly Workers Extension Club. Bernadette quilted, crocheted, gardened, and canned. She did love to mow and did so until she was 93 years old. Bernadette kept busy doing furniture refinishing, playing cards and playing Rummikub. She always had pie, cookies, and brownies around when anyone would stop by.

Bernadette is survived by her eight children and spouses, Patricia (Gerald) Harts of Yankton, SD, Mardell “Mickey” (Marvin) Hochstein of Bloomfield, Kelly (Linda) Tramp of Norfolk, Sandee Zoucha of Duluth, Georgia, Allen (Tamie) Tramp of Lincoln, Carol (Mike) Norris of Kirkman, IA, Dale Tramp of Lincoln, and Donna (Alan) Poppe of Crofton; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Sylvester on June 3, 1997 at age 80; two sisters Irene (Gus) Heimes, Leora (Earl) Guenther; one brother Irvin (Chris) Wiebelhaus, and son-in-law Joe Zoucha.

Denis was a member of Holy Family (Sts. Peter & Paul) Catholic Church in Bow Valley. He was a member of the IAWP (International Association of Workforce Personnel) for which he was the South East President, the State President and an international delegate; Tri-County Sportsman’s Association, NRA, he loved all sports, hiking, golfing and doing things with his family and grandchildren. He lettered in football, basketball and golf. He loved golf and all the friendships he made through golf. He qualified for the State Golf Meet all four years playing for Cedar’s State Runner-up golf team in 2004 and also playing on the undefeated 2005 State Championship team. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. When Miles was a sophomore in 2004 he developed Type 1 diabetes. As a result of his training to manage this disease, he decided to pursue a degree in nursing at Metro Community College in Omaha where he was a student. He has worked full time as a CNA at the University of Nebraska Medical Center for the past 3 years. He loved being Uncle Miles to Anna, Brody and his godchild, Josie Grace, who was baptized on March 5, 2011. He is survived by his parents, Roman and Nancee Sudbeck of Hartington; 2 brothers, Ross and Betsy Sudbeck and their children, Anna Marie and Josie Grace of Kearney; Rory and Becca Sudbeck and their son, Brody Thomas of Omaha; paternal grandfather, Orville Sudbeck of Hartington, a maternal grandmother, Donna Newman-Hackl of Wynot and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
