She also took several trips in the US to vacation attractions, and her favorite destination which she visited numerous times, Branson, MO. If there was a vehicle going somewhere, mom was good to go! In 2013 she decided to reside at Epione Pavillion in Cuba City. She brought her sizzling personality to share with all the residents there. She made many new friends and caught up with some old friends. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, putting puzzles together, and her favorite, Wii bowling. The staff at Epione took excellent care of her. Betty was a devoted daughter and sister, an excellent friend, and most of all, a loving and dedicated mother. She is survived by two daughters, Pam Stark of Platteville; Terry Benn of Hazel Green; son, Dennis (Jayne) Stark of Platteville; five grandchildren, Travis Benn, Christine Benn, Korrin Stark, Amie Stark, and Michael Stark; three great-grandchildren, Zoey Benn, Adelyn Meyers and Evelyn Meyers; two sisters-in-law, Donna Brooks and Helen Piddington; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mina McGuire; brothers, Percy, Dean, Leon, Dale, and Maynard; brother-in-law, Chas McGuire; sisters-in-law, Vera Piddington, Ruth Piddington, and Kathy Piddington. The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank you to the nurses, who took care of Betty, and made her final journey comfortable. Also, a genuine Thank you to Dr. Carr for his excellent care given to Betty. With her many trips to the SWHC she received the best care possible. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
