"Loen. For Lake Loen. Surrounded by snow-capped mountain ranges, intersected with beautiful green valleys. Lake Loen presents quite an Alpine appearance. The great rolling glacier Halseth, with its masses of blue ice constantly moving down the mountain side; the Steep Ravenfjeld and the Nonsnib towering 6,000 feet above you, make a wonderful picture."
