She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Schmidt, and was born in Red Bud on October 15, 1854. She was united in marriage with Louis Kaiser on Dec. 29, 1873. To this union nine children were born, five of whom are living. Mr. Kaiser's death occurred March 15, 1939. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Amanda Jungermann, Mrs. Ottille Heimburger and Mrs. Marie Ulmer, all of St. Louis, Mrs. Emeline Diercks and Louis Kaiser, both of this city, also a brother, George Schmidt, of Stuttgart, Arkansas. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon, December 20, 1941 from the Koch Funeral Home at 1:45 o'clock. Interment will take place in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. K F Eisele will conduct the service.

In 1873 he was united in marriage with Miss Sallie Schmidt of Horse Prairie. They were the oldest married couple in Red Bud. For many years Mr. Kaiser was employed in the Ziebold mill here. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Amanda Jungerman of St. Louis; Louis Kaiser of Red Bud; Mrs. Ottille Heimburger, St. Louis; Mrs. Emeline Diercks of Red Bud and Mrs. Marie Ulmer of St. Louis. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 from the Koch Funeral Home in Red Bud to the St. John's Lutheran Church. Rev. K.F. Eisele will officiate at the services. Interment will take place in St. John 's Lutheran Cemetery.

The text of the funeral sermon was based on 2 Tim. 4, 18. The Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me into His heavenly kingdom to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. She is survived by 5 sons, 5 daughters, 26 grandchildren, 5 sisters and one brother.
