  • He was buried in 1728 at Hollingstedt, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
The old Johan Fidde appeared to be a farmer who had considerable wealth. He was called a "Gutt" in some of the records, indicating he had a big house and owned a lot of land. There is no record of his marriage but both his death date (15 Sunday after Trinitatis in 1728) and his burial date (on Wednesday after the 15 Sunday after Trinitatis in 1728) are recorded. He was 74 years old when he died and he was given communion in his house several times starting in the 18th Sunday past Trinitatis in 1723. The last communion was administrated on Monday morning after Lactore Sunday in 1728. This was usually only done for a wealthy person who was sick and could not attend church.3
