Coming from a large family, Sis enjoyed her role as wife and mom, especially treasuring the time spent with family even more as grandchildren began to be added to the family tree. She liked to travel and visit with her many brothers and sisters at the various family camps. Sis always enjoyed a good game of cards with family or with her card club friends. She was a former member of St. Peter Cathedral and currently a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella. A loving mother and proud grandmother, Sis is survived by her children, Mary Joanne (Ron) Bauer of Lake Delton, Wis., Richard (Mary) Goad of Big Bay, and Jacqueline (Blayne) Andresen of Marquette; her grandchildren, Brad (Stacey) Andresen, Chad (Kathy) Andresen, Lisa (Jason) Bloxsom, Michelle (Tom) Wagner, Laurel (Dave) Leonard, and Lon (Sue) Bauer; great- grandchildren, Alexis, Evan, Amanda, Carter, Jaden, Addison, Mardi, Bronson, Kaliista, and Cooper; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents: Sis was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, in 1988; by sisters, Margaret "Leeslo" Blass, Helen Zweifel, Rosina Yshinski, Ann Kaney, and Mary Bushausen; and brothers, Johnny Blass, Armin Blass, and John F. Blass; and brothers-in-law, Fritz Zweifel, Leo Yshinski, John Kaney, and Frank Bushausen. Friends may call at the Fassbender Funeral Home on Friday, June 4, beginning at noon. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating. Burial will be made in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Honorary escorts will be Sis' grandchildren.
