Death21 January 2006Anne Marie Ebsen died on 21 January 2006 at age 84 Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 26, for Anna Marie Willenburg, 84, St. Paul, Minn., who died Jan. 21, 2006, at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, Minn. The services will be held in Grace Lutheran Church at Parker, and burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery there.

Visitation is Wednesday until 8 p.m. at the Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home in Parker.

Anna Ebsen was born on Sept. 10, 1921, at Vermillion to Peter and Serena (Christensen) Ebsen. She married Elmer Willenburg on Sept. 30, 1948, at Vermillion. They moved to a farm near Parker in 1948 and she worked at the Hilltop Nursing Home there for more than 20 years. They retired and moved into Parker in 1972. In 1994, they moved to St. Paul. Her husband died in 2001.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Bob (Shirley) of St. Paul; three daughters, Betty Stock and Deborah Willenburg, both of St. Paul, and Joan (Steve) Halstenson of Ft. Meyers, Fla; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Ebsen of Pipestone, Minn., and Curtis "Bud" Ebsen of Madison; and three sisters, Esther Abraham of Sioux Falls, Emma Flanery of Rapid City, and Mary Ann Hyland of Madison.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Leonard and John Ebsen.
