The groom resides on a farm seven miles south of Salem, and is a school teacher and has excellent qualifications, worthy of the bride he has won. Rut-ledge Beale, pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mountview Cemetery. Surviving are two sons, James G. Fraser Jr. of 417 Clark Ave., and A. G. Fraser of Downey, Calif; two daughters, Mrs. Walter H. Young of Portola, Calif., and Mrs. Walter L. Shults of Redmond, Wash., six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Schaffner, of Harrison township, died this morning at the family home the result of an overdose of strychnine. Mrs. Schaffner was found dead by members of the family. She was aged 51 years and had been in ill health several months, suffering violent attacks of headache. Mrs. Schaffner was born in Cincinnati and resided in Van Wert several years before removing to Harrison township. Dr. E. H. Alspaugh, of Willshire, county coroner, conducted an inquest, and found death due to strychnine poisoning. Among her direct survivors are her husband, four sons, A. H. Nickey, of South Shannon street, Lawrence and Edward Nickey, of Toledo, and George Nickey, of South Dakota, two daughters, Mrs. Ella Clear and Mrs. Mary Wood, of Toledo, one sister, Mrs. Robert Winings, of Cincinnati, and five brothers, Carl Hays, of Hamilton, Perry Hays, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Harry Hays, of New Lebannon, Indiana, Seeley Hays, of Newcastle, Indiana, and Louis Hays, of Cambridge City, Indiana. The funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, in Harrison township. Interment will be made at Woodland Cemetery.
