He was born on June 23, 1931 at Loganville, the son of Paul and Lydia (Harms) Meyer Sr. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the manager of Korth Transfer in Hillpoint for many years. Paul was also the owner of Korth Leasing and Hillcrest Transit. Following his retirement, he enjoyed working on the farm. Paul enjoyed fishing in Canada, hunting out west, spending time at the cabin and most importantly, he enjoyed time spent with his family. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law: Paula and Tom Seep, of Reedsburg; two grandchildren: Diana (Tom) Ugoretz, of Marshfield and Brian Seep, of West Salem; three great grandchildren: Kayla, Paul and Christopher Ugoretz; one brother: Reuben Meyer, of Reedsburg; one sister: Louise (Richard) Kaun, of Loganville; his sister-in-law: Dolores Meyer, of Reedsburg; his brother-in-law: Jim Brown, of Baraboo; his special friend: Nancy Breidenstein, of Hillsboro; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Donald Meyer and one sister: Kathy Brown. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Pastor Paul Crolius officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery at Loganville. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Sauk County Health Care Center would be appreciated. The Hoof Funeral Home is serving the family.

On Feb.4, 1956, she married James L. Brown at St. John' s Lutheran Churchin Loganville. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, golfing and spending time in Arizona. She worked at the Wilderness Hotel and Golf Resort as a retail manager for the past five years. She was a memberof St. John' s Lutheran Church of Baraboo. Kathy is survived by her husband, Jim, of 52 years; three children, Ronald (Susan) Brown of Eau Claire, Pamela (Richard) Steele of Baraboo, and Robert (Karlyn) Brown of Baraboo; five grandchildren, Jennifer and Travis Steele, and Austin, Kelsey and Mason Brown; two brothers, Reuben and Paul Meyerof Reedsburg; a sister, Louise (Richard) Kaun of Loganville; and a sister-in -law, Dolores Meyer of Reedsburg. Other survivors include nieces, nephews, family and friends. Her parents; and a brother, Donald Meyer, preceded her in death. The family will honor her wishes by having a private memorial service. The Brown family would like to thank Dr. Frontiera and Dr Kostelyna and their staff, and Home Health United. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations intended for St. John' s Lutheran School of Baraboo or the American Cancer Society may be sent to the family. The Picha Funeral Home and Crematory of Lake Delton assisted the family with arrangements.

She was born on December 30, 1923 in Reedsburg, the daughter of Walter and Elsa (Schulz) Rusch. On October 27, 1945, she was married to Durlin A. Behn. Together they farmed the home farm near Rock Springs until their retirement in 1986 when they moved to Reedsburg. Marcella was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Rock Springs and a member of the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Rock Elm Homemakers for many years. Marcella enjoyed reading, traveling and playing cards. Survivors include her six children: Shirley (Dan) Oetzman, of Hillsboro; Donna Behn, of Verona; Betty (Gene) Berg, of Waunakee; Carolyn Behn, of Waunakee; Dennis (Dawn) Behn, of Reedsburg and Donald (Patti) Behn, of Reedsburg; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; her sister: Sylvia Weiss, of Reedsburg; a sister-in-law: Helen Hamilton, of Menomonee; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Durlin, on November 21, 2002; her daughter and son-in-law: Sharon and Roy Palmer; and one grandson: Stephen Oetzman. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 13, 2013 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Rock Springs with Pastor David Karow officiating. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom. There will be a visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday at the church. Roy was born in Reedsburg on May 10, 1942, the son of Raymond and Helen (Grotophorst) Palmer. Roy was a member of the Army National Guard, serving in Washington State during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He belonged to the Getchel-Nelson American Legion Post 210 of Waupun. He was married to Sharon Behn on Nov 21, 1968, in Rock Springs, WI.

Roy was employed by the State of Wisconsin at the Waupun Correctional Institute for 20 years and was a member of Local 18. He was also a member of the Pella Lutheran Church where he participated in the choir. He shared his singing talent as a member of the Ripon Harmony King's. Roy gave of his time to the community monthly as a delivery man for the Share Program. His other interest included gardenting and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon in 1993; his father; and his father-in-law, Durlin Behn.

Roy is survived by his son, Robert of Waupun; his mother, Helen Palmer; his sister, Leta Palmer; his mother-in-law, Marcella Behn, all of Reedsburg; numerous other relatives and friends.

Inurnment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery in North Freedom.

He was born Jan. 14, 1927, in Franklin Township, Sauk County, the son of William and Ella (Gade) Kaun. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954, serving during the Korean War.

On Aug. 21, 1952, Richard was united in marriage to Louise C. Meyer at St. John Lutheran Church, Loganville. Richard farmed rural Loganville for many years. He was a member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, Loganville, where he enjoyed singing in the choir. Richard had a gift of writing poetry, something his family has cherished for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Steven; six brothers; and three brothers-in-infancy.

He is survived by his wife, Louise, of Loganville; daughter, Jody (Brian) Calhoun of Montello; son, Scott Kaun of Reedsburg; grandchildren, Spenser Kaun and friend, Jessica Dilley, her daughter, Kyleigh Meyer, and son, Dane Maconaghy, Shannan Kaun and Hunter Kaun; sisters, Dorothy Derringer of Janesville, Leona Jones of Janesville, Arlene Peterson of Washington; sister-in-law, Jenny Kaun of Reedsburg; many nieces and nephews; along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Richard M. Kaun will be conducted at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Loganville, with Pastor Donald Glanzer officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in lieu of flowers.

Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Survivors include her three children: Stephanie (Jerry) Frederickson, Robert (Patricia) Ulvestad and Nancy (Russell) Froehlich; six grandchildren: Sam and Jesse Fredrickson; Michelle and Justin Ulvestad; Carrie and Alan Froehlich; twelve great grandchildren; her sister-in-law: Lois Prouty; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brother: Gerald Prouty; sister-in-law: Vivian Tiede and brother-in-law: John Tiede. Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the United Methodist Church in Sandusky with Pastor Deb Burkhalter and Pastor Bob Maeglin officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:30 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow in the Sandusky Cemetery.
