Myron served as the treasurer of Harrison township for 15 years. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Platteville, the Potosi/Tennyson Lions Club, the Masonic Warren Lodge No. 4 in Potosi and the Potosi Township Historical Society. His hobbies included woodworking and making toy farm equipment. Surviving are his special family, Tim and Cory Leibfried and their children, Dana and Derrick of Potosi; cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene, on Sept. 27, 1997; his parents; and a sister, Muriel Hamilton, in infancy. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH, Platteville, with the Rev. JoAnn Post officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery, Harrison township.
