     Marcia Kay Mollet was born on 15 February 1941 at Huron, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Harold D. Mollet and Verla Marie Nelsen. Marcia Kay Mollet died on 27 June 2010 at age 69 ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Marcia K. (Mollet) Jacobs, Albuquerque, formerly of Rapid City, S.D., died Sunday, June 27, 2010, surrounded by her sons and family at the University of New Mexico Hospital. Marcia was born Feb. 15, 1941, to Harold and Verla Mollet in Huron, S.D. After graduating as valedictorian of her class in Wessington Springs, S.D., she attended Dakota Wesleyan in Mitchell, S.D., where she acquired her teaching certificate. During this time Marcia met Ronald W. Jacobs. They were married June 24, 1961 in Mitchell. She later received her teaching degree from Black Hills State College in Spearfish, S.D. Marcia had an impact on the many students she taught throughout her teaching career in Cortland, Neb., and the Piedmont (S.D.) and Stagebarn Elementary schools. Ron and Marcia built a home in Piedmont where they raised their three sons. After retirement they moved to Rapid City, where they enjoyed traveling and their family and friends until Ron's death in October 2003. Marcia then moved to Albuquerque, where she resided until her death. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Albuquerque. Survivors include three sons, Brent W. Jacobs, Albuquerque, Dayne (Charle) Jacobs, Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Corey T. (Connie Sue) Jacobs, Rapid City; seven grandchildren, Samuel, Brooks, Benjamin, Emmalena, Daniel, Gideon and Eli; one brother, Lanning (Fran) Mollet, Yankton, S.D; and one sister, Charla (Bob) Shimp, Charleston, S.C. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald and her parents. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, July 5, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home in Rapid City. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, at the Grace Reformed Church in Rapid City, with the Rev. David Fagrey officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Rapid City. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Piedmont Lions Club and the Quilting Group at Faith Lutheran Church in Albuquerque.      Charlotte Audrey Varuska was born on 15 April 1940 at Geddes, Charles Mix, South Dakota. She was the daughter of James R. Varuska Jr. and Dora Amelia Mollet. Charlotte Audrey Varuska married William Palmer Smith in October 1958 at Geddes, Charles Mix, South Dakota. Charlotte Audrey Varuska died on 5 November 2002 at Hampton, Virginia, at age 62 Charlotte Audrey Smith, age 62, died Tuesday, November 5, 2002, at Walter Reed Convalescent Center. Charlotte was a native of South Dakota and worked for the City of Hampton in food service until her retirement in 1990. She was preceded in death by her father, James Varuska. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Smith Sneed and her husband Mark; three sons, Bryan Smith and his wife Louise, Barry Smith and his wife Caroline and Bradley Smith and his wife Barbara; her mother, Dora M. Varuska; two brothers, Norman Varuska and his wife Connie and Dale Varuska and his wife Connie; and four grandchildren.
     She obtained US Social Security Card at South Dakota; last residence Hampton, Hampton City, Virginia. She was graduated in 1958 at Geddes High School, Geddes, Charles Mix, South Dakota.1 As of October 1958,her married name was Smith.
