Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Clara Louise Heeren was born August 31, 1914, at the home of her parents, Herman and Meta (Von Hagel) Heeren in Grant township, Plymouth county. She was married to, Walter A. Klemme at Christ Lutheran church, rural Le Mars, June 3, 1937. Mrs. Klemme was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church, Akron.

Survivors are her husband, Walter, rural Akron; one daughter, Mrs. Allen (Janice) Rohlfs, rural Le Mars; one grandchild, La Mont Rohlfs, rural Le Mars; two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Helen) Ahrendt and Mrs. Alvin (Anna) Klemme, both of Le Mars, and one brother, Norman Heeren, rural Le Mars.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her marriage to Herman D. Heeren took place Oct. 13, 1910, in Grant township. She was the former Meta Von Hagel, daughter of John D. and Helena J. Ludwigs Von Hagel.

Survivors are her husband, Herman; three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Helen) Ahrendt and; Mrs. Alvin (Anna) Klemme, both of Le Mars, and Mrs. Walter (Clara) Klemme of Akron; a son, Norman Heeren, Le Mars; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Helena Lammers: Madelia, Minn., and Mrs. John Wilken, Akron. :

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Gerd Von Hagel, and a sister, Marie.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran church. Grant township, and the American Lutheran Church Women.

Klemme on 23 June 1938; Alvin Klemme and Miss Anna Heeren were married Thursday evening, June 23, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Heeren, in Grant township. Rev. F. Bunge of Christ Lutheran church performed the ceremony. The young people were attended by the bride's sister, Miss Helen, and the groom's brother, Leonard. The bride wore a gown of white silk with long veil and carried a bouquet of summer flowers. A number of friends and relatives were gathered to witness the ceremony and extend congratulations. The groom is a son of Fred Klemme and a grandson of Mrs. Minnie Klemme of Le Mars. He is farming on the Eldon Klemme place near Craig where the young people will make their home. A marriage license was issued at the court house Friday to Alvin Klemme and Ann Heeren of Le Mars.
