She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Patricia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 1994, at 11:00 a.m. at ST. MARTY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Keyesville. Father Wayne Kidd will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 1994, at the STAFFORD FUNERAL HOME at Richland Center, where a parish rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to give special thanks to Home Health United, the Sauk County Hospice, and the UW Hospital and Clinic. Linda worked as a cook at a family owned restaurant, Gables. Then as a cook for the Richland School District. Linda was a friend to all, especially animals and all of God’s creatures. She loved her cats and dogs (Bristol and Cindy). Linda loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was very kind and was known for having a positive, strong attitude. She loved many and was loved by many. Linda appreciated all of her friends, family, and those who cared for her. She was a devoted mother that was always there for her family. She had a vivacious personality and always made people feel her love, appreciation, kindness and laughter. Linda liked watching old classic movies and reminiscing about them. She loved getting a good cup of coffee, eating out with family and shopping.

Beloved survivors include her four children: John (Tara) Weitzel, Jamie (Deb) Weitzel, Michele (Brian) Kleppe, Jared Weitzel; fourteen grandchildren: Grady Corcoran, Reed Weitzel, Taylor Weitzel, Sterling Weitzel, Lucas Weitzel, Katarina Weitzel, Ruthie Weitzel, Rebekah Weitzel, Johnny Weitzel, Katlyn Weitzel, Keegan Gerbig, Chelsey Kleppe, Cole Kleppe, Shelby Weitzel; great grandchildren, special friend and sister-in-law Mary Crook; many other relatives and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother Thelma Sigrist, husband John Weitzel, and grandchild Reagan Lee.
Linda will be in our hearts forever and sorely be missed by her friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 PM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Richland Center. Visitation will be held at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM.
