He was employed at the Rock Springs quarry and at the Reeds burg Woolen Mills for many years until he retired several years ago He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Mr. Steinweg was married to Lydia Meyer in 1908 and the couple observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1958. Other survivors are his wife: grand knight of the Portage lodge He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its Holy Xame society. A member of the Portage Elks lodge, he was a former chairman of the Columbia County Red Cross. Funeral services will be held 9:30 a. m. Monday in St. Marys Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sisters, Eileen (Thomas) Tiernan and Anastasia (Nicholas) Fox, both of Milwaukee, and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held Nov. 11 from the McMurrough Funeral Chapel to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libertyville. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Milwaukee.
Memorials may be made to Mercy Manor, 421 N. Lake St., Auora, 60506.1
