She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Dr. Steven Dorow in 2002. A Mass of Christian Burial for Betty Dorow will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg with the Reverend Patrick Wendler, Pastor officiating. She was a member of the Hartford Senior Friends and also a past president of the Edgewater Condominiums Association. Mary enjoyed: baking for her family and for church functions, bowling, crocheting, knitting, crossword puzzles and word searches, reading Danielle Steele books, watching Wheel of Fortune and shows at the Fireside Dinner Theatre, taking day bus trips with Dick, and most of all she loved time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren. She was born on Oct. 11, 1921, the daughter of Henry and Margaret (Needham) Meise in Plain. Helen was married on April 18, 1939, to Michael P. Bindl. She was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church and loved cooking, baking, canning, gardening and flowers. Survivors include five children, Wayne "Buzz" Bindl of Spring Green, Connie (Leo) Ellefson of Middleton, Sandra Bindl and Ron Rego of Lone Rock, Gary (JoAnn) Bindl of Spring Green, Linda (John) Niesen of Cross Plains; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerald (Kathleen) Meise of Plain; two sisters-in-law, Helen Schulte of Hillpoint, and Leona Jacobson of Milwaukee; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Margaret Meise; her husband, Michael Bindl; a daughter-in-law, Geri Bindl; and two brothers, Louie and Earl Meise. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at noon at ST. LUKE'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Plain. Father Mike Resop will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of Mass.

Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Joe Schulte of Ellinwood and Robert Schulte of Madison, Wis; three daughters, Mary Kay of Loyd, Wis., Alice Ann of rural Reedsburg, Wis., and Sandy of rural Hillpoint, Wis; one sister, Mabel Kitzke; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one great-grandson; twin great-granddaughters; one brother, Awald Schulte; and one sister, Alice Schulte. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. Mike Resop officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul?s Lutheran Cemetery. Karen was a homemaker and worked for 10 years at the Pleasant Company in Middleton. Besides her husband, Ronald Cresswell Sr., survivors include two daughters, Lori Aegerter of Cross Plains, and Amy (Kyle) Butters of Newburg; a son, David (Anne) Cresswell of Janesville; nine grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Hannah, Andrew, Zachery, Ron, Jessica, Katelyn and Nathan; four sisters, JoAnne (Kenneth) Volk, Elaine (Al) Hellenbrand, Mary (Jack) Krueger, and Evy (Vern) Halverson; four brothers, Les (Connie), Terry (Deb) Richard, Danny (Donna) Meise; other relatives and friends.
