(Bunni) Scott, of Lake Delton; Shirley McDonough, of Reedsburg and Nancy McDonough, of LaValle; eight grandchildren: Robin (Ray) Berlin, of Reedsburg; Donna (Darryl) Heinz, of New Lisbon; Angela Scott, of Lake Delton; Jody (Rebecca) McDonough, of Waunakee; Matthew McDonough, of Baraboo; Ryan (Jessica Gross) McDonough, of Ironton; Scott (Kayla Turgeon) McDonough, of Reedsburg and Shaun (Jill Mortimer) McDonough, of LaValle; ten great grandchildren; three brothers-in-law: Harold Scott, of Jonesdale; Dale (Yvonne) Scott, of Elroy and Ronald (Cal) Scott, of Janesville; three sisters-in-law: Jeanice (Carl) Hummer, of Kendall; Doris Herrewig, of Wonewoc and Diane Chase, of Tomah; a special friend: Jane Fisher, of Reedsburg; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Loganville with Pastor Christopher Miller officiating. Frieda Schlieckau died on 23 August 2012 at age 89 Frieda Lucht Craker, age 89, of Reedsburg, died on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center. She was born on February 18, 1923, the daughter of August and Martha (Wawrock) Schlieckau. On June 25, 1943 she was married to Victor Lucht at St. Peter's Church in Loganville. He died on September 28, 1972 due to a farm accident. She later married Victor Craker on July 24, 1976. He preceded her in death on February 25, 1999. Frieda was a caregiver for her youngest brother, August Schlieckau Jr., for many years. Augie preceded her in death on December 2, 2009. She worked as a cook at the Sauk County Health Care Center for many years. Frieda also enjoyed doing sewing and alterations. Survivors include her three daughters: Janet (Marvin) Laukant, of Rock Springs; Betty (Ronald) Schwartz, of Oconomowoc and Susan (Dennis) Bennett, of Portage; her stepson: Philip (Gloria) Craker, of Reedsburg; eight grandchildren: Cindy (Bob) Kissack, of Rock Springs; Nancy (Jon) Williams, of Lyndon Station; John (Joanna) Laukant, of Reedsburg; Charles Laukant, of Reedsburg; Craig (Gwen) Schwartz, of Verona; Amy (Michael) Borchers, of Indianapolis, IN; Victoria Bennett, of Poynette and Rebbecca Bass, of Portage; six step-grandchildren: Robin (Jean) Craker, of Reedsburg; Holly (Lynn) Mittelstaedt, of Reedsburg; Nancy Kaney, of Reedsburg; Jamie (Ken) Catterson, of Baraboo; Chris (Tammy) Craker, of Falkon, SD and Tracy Craker, of LaCrosse; thirty seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; four sisters: Dorothy Albers, of Reedsburg; Marion Roecker, of Reedsburg; Adeline (Joseph) Stimac, of Milwaukee and Beverly (Richard) Schultz, of LaValle; two brothers: Walter (Alva) Schlieckau, of Loganville and Henry (Jan) Schlieckau, of Reedsburg; a sister-in-law: Beverly Schlieckau, of Loganville; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Louise White; two brothers: Harold and August Schlieckau Jr. and one nephew: Richard Roecker. She will be remembered for her delicious meals, her beautiful sewing and her passionate caregiving. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Loganville with Pastor Christopher Miller officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg. The Hoof Funeral Home is serving the family.

She was born on April 13, 1924, near Loganville, the daughter of August and Martha (Wawrock) Schlieckau. On May 27, 1944, she was married to Raymond C. Albers.

She farmed with her husband for 47 years in the Town of Honey Creek, Sauk County. After moving to Reedsburg, she was employed at Hankscraft for fourteen years retiring in 1992. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, tatting, gardening and working with her flowers.

Survivors include her four children: Caroline (Jay) Norelius, of Lindstrom, Minn., Dianne (Randy) Copenhefer, of Sun Prairie, James (Toni) Albers, of Waunakee, and Karen (David) Page, of McFarland; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers: Walter (Alva) Schlieckau, of Loganville and Henry (Jan) Schlieckau, of Reedsburg; one sister: Marion Roecker, of Reedsburg; her brother-in-law: Richard Schultz, of Reedsburg; her sister-in-law: Beverly Schlieckau, of Loganville; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, on Dec. 13, 1998; four sisters: Frieda Craker, Adeline Stimac, Louise White and Beverly Schultz; and two brothers: Harold Schlieckau and Augie Schlieckau.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at ST. JOHN’S LUTHERAN CHURCH in Leland, with Pastor Donald Glanzer officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. There will be a visitation on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Adeline was born on November 8th, 1925. She and nine siblings (the Schlieckau family) were raised on a large farm south of Loganville. She was a devoted wife of 70 years to Joseph (deceased), a loving mother of Eugene (Linda), Gary (Susan), grandmother of Christopher, Jessica (Born), Timothy, Laura Anne (Watkins). In addition she has four great grandchildren. She was self employed as seamstress for 40 years. Member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Capital Drive Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her years of helping others and traveling throughout the world. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Luther Manor, 4545 N. 92nd St. from 10:30 until the Memorial Service at 11:00.

Ruth Ann Greenheck died on 10 May 2006 at age 77 Ruth Ann Halverson (Greenheck), age 77, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center, Madison, after a long battle with respiratory problems. She was born on Aug. 16, 1928, in Bear Valley, the second child of John and Agnes (Roessler) Greenheck. Ruth graduated from Edgewood High School in 1946 and then St. Anthony College of Nursing in Rockford, Ill. in 1949. She married Herman Leo Halverson, Jr., of Madison, in 1953. As a young mother of five, Ruth also worked as a registered nurse at the V.A. Hospital and Oscar Mayer. Always concerned about the welfare of family, friends and strangers, Ruth was a dedicated volunteer who made endless meatloaves for those in need. Ruth taught her children to never shy away from a challenge, was a strong advocate for education and was very proud of the professional achievements of her three daughters and two sons. She is survived by her husband, Leo; their five children, LyAnne Halverson, Leslie (Brodie Hall) Halverson Hall, Herman Leo, III "Chip" (Kathy) Halverson, John Olaf "Ole" (Kathy Lamond) Halverson and Mary Kaia "Kaia" (Rob) Durall; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Casey, Chelsea, Kaia, Blake, Taylor and Mikala, Finn; brothers and sisters, Jim (Shirley) Greenheck, Dick (Jean) Greenheck, Janice Donatell and Steve (Luann) Greenheck; and sister-in-law, Ann Greenheck. Ruth was preceded in death by brothers, Tom and Gene; and brother-in-law, Hank Donatell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2006, at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 404 Main St., Madison, at 11 a.m. with Father Daniel Ganshert officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.
