Their announcement of intention to marry was entry 34 in the Verlob. Book. A letter was written by Pastor Alfsen from Delve on 17 Nov. 1839 stating that Johann was in good health. Johann was born in 1816 and was confirmed in 1832. He was vaccinated by Dr. Dohrn on July 27, 1817. Telshe was confirmed in 1828 (entry 231 of the Confirmation Book). She was vaccinated by Dr. Dohrn on July 29, 1816. The couple wanted to live in Rusdorf. They had children in 1840, 1842, 1844 and 1846.2
