  • Hans Fedde married Grethje Janssen, daughter of Johann Jantzen, on 20 April 1728 at Delve, Schleswig-Holstein, Preussen, 1728 No. 1, 19 February. (The following is the first proclamation or engagement record. It is a marriage contract that was first read to the church congregation on this day.) The good and honorable Hans Fidde, eldest son of Johann Fidde of Dorpstedt in the church of Hollingstedt and Grethja Janssen, daughter of Johan Janssen of Delve, have appeared before me and I give the announcement in written form that they are engaged. The father of the bride from Delve has appeared before me, at my request, and has given his fatherly consent. Because her inheritence (dowry), she was given a house in Delve and 3 hectors of land (by her father) and now the pastor and the Duke have given their consent. The groom has satisfied his military requirement. Signed by Hans Elamssung (the pastor) and several witnesses
    On 11 April the 2nd proclamation was made. A repeat of the first announcement was read to the congregation on Jubilate Sunday. On 20th April, the marriage was performed. The marriage took place in the church in Delve.1
  • Hans Fedde died on 10 September 1753 at Delve, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, May be 1752.
     Hans Fedt was baptized on the 3rd Sunday after Trinity Sunday. He died 10 May 1753 according to the Delve baptism book, 1753. According to the Otto Hintze history, Grethje and Hans became engaged in Delve on 19 Feb 1728. The pastor remarked to that: "I summoned the brides stepfather, Claus Peters, to me in Delve to obtain his fatherly consent but because of some dissent concerning the inheritance from her real father who was among..., the stepfather would not personally take part in permitting the engagement, so Mr. Hans Clausen of the same district and parish represented him with full authority. The groom also agreed to plant the desired number of trees requested by the magistrates. " Witness: The formentioned Hans Clausen and Hinrich Grahm, a shipper in Delve, in whose house the marriage took place on April 20, 1728.2 Hans Fedde was a houseman.
